About the course

A classical approach to food as medicine

In Ayurveda, food is not merely sustenance — it is the first and most powerful medicine. This course is designed to introduce the Ayurvedic principles that govern food, nutrition, and lifestyle, grounded in classical texts and brought to life through practical application.

Each class combines lecture, practical demonstrations, exercises, and guided discussion. Participants are encouraged to share their experiences and actively engage throughout. Learning resources — including handouts, recipes, and reference material from classical Ayurvedic texts — are shared to support learning beyond each session.
